In 2018, Zavod AO with registered office in Novo mesto organises the UNITED WORLD ACCORDION CHAMPIONSHIP – ACCORDION GAMES. We thank all contestants, companions, teachers, music schools, partners, sponsors, representatives, members of the accordion games, distinguished guests and all other performers who will co-create this historic moment of the beginning of the ACCORDION GAMES – UNITED WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP OF ACCORDIONISTS which Zavod AO with partners and co-organisers will take to the journey around the world. With the desire to create the most prestigious accordion championship that will mark the 21st century and to build an outstanding accordionist community with the international encyclopaedia of accordionists, we invite you to become a part of this historic moment.

DEAR CONTESTANTS AND GUESTS!
We will welcome each of you with great pleasure, respect and honorary welcome. At the accordion games, we will select the best accordionists, but we will not forget anyone, because in music not merely a victory is important. We will encourage all contestants, reward you for performing at the accordion games and thank you for your efforts. We want you to feel like a winner and go home with plenty of nice memories and experiences that will be a benefit to you on your music path. In the name of the host – the municipality of Dolenjske Toplice, we wish a pleasant stay to all contestants, performers, teachers, mentors, representatives of sponsors, distinguished guests and visitors who will be present at the Accordion Games 2018.

WHEN AND WHERE WILL THE ACCORDION GAMES TAKE PLACE?
The accordion games will take place in Slovenia from 5th to 8th July 2018. The host and co-organiser of the championship is the municipality of Dolenjske Toplice which is also a beautiful Slovenian tourist destination. In 2020, the accordion games will travel to Russia. They will be hosted by the city of Belgorod with more than 350,000 inhabitants, which is also known as the “white city”.
