Thousands of hours have been spent listening to these songs. They are some of the most beautiful and diverse in gaming and music history, and I would like to sincerely thank the wonderful and brilliant composers at Paradox, including Andreas Waldetoft, for their unique and astonishing creations. Here is a playlist that brings songs from the ancient era to the space age and beyond, and I hope you get as much joy from these as I have. I have attempted to the best of my ability to bring the most relaxing and soothing songs from each game, but some are admittedly faster and louder than others – yet all still as wonderful as the last. This is also why some games have more soundtrack than others, especially in the case of Stellaris, because the songs are longer and rarely include battle tunes. I have deliberately left out battle soundtracks altogether.

  1. The CK2 playlist part has a very curious bit of artwork. I can recognize both romanian and polish flag colours on it, but the castles (and especially) the knights seem to be western European. As well the Red-and-Gold quarter-parted flag with two crosses seems spanish in design/motif and the knight's cloak has a welsh dragon on it. As well, the red-and-black fleur-de-lis on backgrounds seems french-inspired or somewhere northern italian. And that castle feels like I've seen it before, it looks as imposing as Dover castle but it's not that one. Andy, could you provide the link of this artwork? I'm curious if it's a compilation of motifs from all over medieval Europe or if the author just liked the various colourful patterns and didn't intend any signifiance with them.

  2. this is a fantastic mix! you masterfully organized each song to flow into one another perfectly! I have only played Stellaris and Crusader Kings II before, but now I am thinking I should play the others too! They all have such great OSTs! Thanks!

  3. Imperator: Rome … gone too soon.

  4. nice music to play call to arms

  5. Muito obrigado pela música 👍

  6. A great playlist for working.

  7. Comintern theme is just something else
    Confederates flag too

  8. Recently discovered this 'hidden gem', amazing! It reminds me of the ANNO soundtracks (which i love because i played all of ANNO), but i've actually played none of these. Thanks Andy, for making this!

  9. A certified hood classic.

  10. Great playlist. Clean mindset for gaming and working. Thanks Andy!

  11. Andy, where'd you get these wallpapers? They're awesome. Particularly looking for Imperator and Stellaris.

  12. Lol I clicked on this playlist to work to without even realizing it was your channel! Great job in curation. I've only playing Stellaris and CK3 of the main Paradox developed titles but I gotta say that Imperator Rome has some amazing music. Might nudge me towards picking it up.

  13. Thank you youtube algorithm for showing me this.

  14. The best is EU4 Birth of a Global Empire music

  15. Chill beats to relax/conquer world to

  16. I need an updated version of his 🙂

  17. Imperator: Rome had so much to live up to, but sadly a botched release and abandonment didn't help it, not to mention its release between two big paradox game releases, Stellaris and Crusader Kings III

  18. I'm ngl to you, not including Empire of the Sun is a CRIME

  19. ''Genesis'' part is most replay? kinda surprise

  20. Man Paradox really NEVER misses on soundtracks do they? Also this mix is a completely baller thing to listen to while playing Diablo 4. Thanks boss

  21. Best soundtrack ever even if we miss some beautifull music 🙁

  22. Just found this Andy, and it’s great, BUT!!!

    It’s missing Paradox’s best soundtrack-EUIII.

  23. I'm currently reading a Philosophy & Economics book which goes in-depth on business men and influential thinkers from medieval times to the victorian era in history. The music selection in this video is perfect for me to listen to while reading this book so thanks for the upload.

  24. I accidentally fell asleep to this

  25. The kind of music to bang my hot sister to

  26. Don't know if anyone noticed, but this goes in historical order, great attention to detail

  27. Great mix. Will be soothing for my death bed.

  28. Paradox knows were sitting there for hours maxing grain or unity so they gotta keep us hyped. A1 soundtracks every time.

  29. Having this in the background while I play CIV VI (because the repetitive Maori soundtrack is driving me insane), and there are moments when I forget that I'm not listening to the official CIV VI soundtrack, it fits so well…

  30. I miss Vic3 British soil

  31. wow, these soundtracks are like the evolution of people, they get modern and modern

  32. Hey Andy, there is a little mistake in the timestaps: It starts with "Domine" and "Oceanus" is actually "Olivari". Thanks for the great video!

  33. Bro had one job and did it perfect

  34. I only wish you had "In Taberna" from ck2 in this, but it's great regardless.

  35. Sometimes I wonder if I play paradox games for the music or for the best gameplays never conceived in game history

  36. Such beautiful collection to play strategy games with and read history.

Been playing age of empires ranked games for days none stop and this playlist has helped me keep focus and admire strategy games in new ways.

  37. Is souind of summer also in skyrim?

  38. These soundtracks are STUNNINGLY good! Thank you for your take, Andy!

  39. EUIV is the most complex game, but i love more CK2 and Imperator Rome. However, i will always be in love with Paradox soundtrack on their games.

  40. This has become my go-to classroom soundtrack for when students are working independently. Also great for grading papers!
