We worked a lot on sight reading over the trimester in both treble and bass clefs. For this activity, each student was given a flash card, containing either music notation or solfege syllables. The student then had to find his/her match and after listening to the melody straight through, put his/her flash card on the board in the correct order.

  5. Why do they teach "Do Re Min …" without saying "C D E ..? It seems that is this school is in France or Italy.
