I had a lot of fun making this one, since the SNES is possibly my favourite console ever and I owe it a lot in terms of building my passion for video games and their music in my childhood. I do truly hope this playlist can help you in these troubling times we are all living in right now. Please, feel free to let me know in the comments what you think of it and also what you would like to see/hear next!

  1. Secret of Mana – Overworld Theme 01 – (2:56:46) tendre que jugarlo//I'll have to play it//je vais devoir y jouer

  2. Yeah that Jooe and Mac beat sound very lost

  3. Love that FFVI Phantom Forest is a top performer here. Such a wonderful track.

  4. This is a beautiful playlist! I knwo it might be too much to ask, but if you could have the name of the current song show on screen while it plays, it would be just PERFECT. It's kinda hard to scroll up and down to see the track names from the songs after 2 hours 🤣 (but I still do it haha)

  5. Every time I see the uploader's profile pic, I keep thinking it's Kermit wearing a mexican wrestler mask.

  6. 1 point to criticise… where is the world map theme from illusion of Gaia?

  7. two of my favorite games and snes music right off the bat

  8. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (Hebrews 9:27)
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: (Acts 17:30)
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. (2 Corinthians 7:10)
I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:5)
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)

  9. ~ Snes Magic , It was great time to be alive ~

  10. なにこの最高のメドレー

  11. The theme of Crysta from Terranigma hit me so fucking hard, holly molly.
I was in a really bad mood, and to hear that sound again felt… Good. Like I was in a safe place.

  12. Années 90 mon monde est 6 rues de quartier et mon super nintendo

  13. Anyone remember the "Play it Loud" campaign, where Nintendo taught you how to rig your RCA cables to your stereo? Man, The SNES sound chip could drive deep bass and wailing treble. Mega Man X was a Jammin soundtrack! Lots of great tunes were composed for that system!

  14. 初手パイロットウィングスは通がすぎるな

  16. SO MANY tracks from Chrono Trigger – LOVE IT! o

  17. It’s ridiculous how many of these songs I never played the games they were from, but knew them anyway from hearing them around, so I still feel a wave of nostalgia from wherever I might’ve heard it (dad’s friend’s house, I bet…)

  18. Very smooth old 16bit console sound.
I doubt those who listened to "relaxing genesis music" still have their ears.

  19. Greeted by Pilotwings. Im staying the full 5 hours.

  20. Idk if anyone else gets the vibe but being a kid when all of these games came out, playing on a 20” tv, the feeling never dies upon hearing these songs. I just wish I didn’t have to go to work and could play some games this morning 😁

  21. You know what I never hear in snes game music playlists like this awesome one? I never hear music from Arcana (I forget the Japanese name , card master rimsala or something), and I used to leave the game open to hear those tunes.

  22. it was a very special time…. and the snes music chip was very special too

  23. Really great set. Thanks for sharing!

  24. You can thank Sony for the chip in the SNES, the SPC700.

  25. Poochy/Thiana normal theme in Tetris Attack/Panel de Pon (Respectively) is another relaxing masterpice from the SNES catalogue :')

  26. Loved it until the Ads after every song.
Must have listened to this straight through like 20 times without them?
