Love this! I was looking for name games. Doing this for Elementary Music – even cooler! THANK YOU and Bless you!
Hi Becca! I LOVE the Jump In, Jump Out one! I'm on a cart this year 🥺…any ideas how to modify it for in a 3 ft socially distanced classroom?
Thanks for the variety of name games! I bring music to students as young as a few months old 🥰 for those who teach pre-K and K, “Elmo’s Song” is PERFECT for this age. I highly recommend using it and making it into your own version. I’ve filled a room with laughter from 3-5 year olds; one of the best moments ever.
Here's one I love. I've done it with k-2 but it's a bit challenging for K.

I've been using "up the ladder down the ladder" for 1-3
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RysGWu3MIUQ&t=43s
and for 4-5:
we sing the refrain of 'that's the way I like it' by KC and the sunshine band together:
"that's the way uh huh uh huh I like it, uh huh uh huh! That's the way uh huh uh huh I like it, uh huh uh huh!"
Then one by one they fill in the blanks and chant:
"___ is the name, _ is the game, _ is the color and there ain't no other."
usually 4 kids in between each refrain.
I like your jump in jump out!
Love this! I'm going to try Round & Round with my new groups, did you ask the class teacher for a list of their names before hand?
Interesting stuffs here
I need lesson plan for grade 2 music class. Thanks
